Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has started the online application process for the Jharkhand Intermediate Level Combined Competitive Examination 2026. A total of 326 regular vacancies are available for Health Supervisor, Junior Regional Investigator, Multipurpose Health Worker, Veterinary Assistant / Medical Assistant, Insect Collector and Fishery Technical Assistant posts. Eligible candidates can apply online from 05 August 2026 to 04 September 2026. The last date for fee payment and uploading the photograph and signature is 05 September 2026, while the correction window will remain open from 06 September to 08 September 2026.

Mode of Selection

  1. Preliminary Examination, if the number of applications exceeds the limit prescribed by JSSC

Syllabus

  • Preliminary Examination will generally be conducted when the number of applications exceeds 50,000.
  • Preliminary Examination: 120 Objective Questions
  • Preliminary Examination Duration: 2 Hours
  • General Studies: 30 Questions
  • Knowledge Related to Jharkhand State: 60 Questions
  • General Mathematics: 10 Questions
  • General Science: 10 Questions
  • Mental Ability Test: 10 Questions
  • Each correct answer carries 3 marks.
  • One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
  • Main Examination will consist of three papers.
  • Main Paper-I: Language Knowledge
  • Main Paper-I is qualifying in nature and requires the prescribed minimum qualifying marks.
  • Main Paper-II: Regional / Tribal Language selected by the candidate
  • Main Paper-III: General Knowledge and post-related subjects as prescribed
  • Final merit will be prepared from the merit papers of the Main Examination.
  • Examination may be conducted through CBT or OMR mode according to the Commission’s decision.
  • Marks may be normalized when the examination is conducted in multiple shifts.

How to Apply

  1. Open the official Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission website.
  2. Go to the Application Forms (Apply) section.
  3. Click on Online Application for JILCCE-2026.
  4. Complete the new registration using a valid mobile number and email address.
  5. Save the Registration Number and Password received through SMS and email.
  6. Log in again and fill in personal, educational, address, category and reservation details.
  7. Select the eligible posts and arrange the post-preference order carefully.
  8. Save and continue after completing each page of the application form.
  9. Pay the applicable examination fee through the available online payment method.
  10. Upload the recent photograph and full signature in the prescribed format.
  11. Preview all entered information carefully before final submission.
  12. Submit the online form and download the final application printout.
  13. Use the correction window from 06 September to 08 September 2026 when a permitted correction is required.
