CPCB Recruitment 2026 Contract Duration
- Initial Contract Period: 1 Year
- The period may be extended annually on a case-to-case basis depending upon performance and project requirements.
- SER Phase-III Project is funded by the National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG) under the Namami Gange Programme.
- The project is presently indicated up to 06 May 2028 and may be extended further.
- Engagement is purely contractual and does not create any right to regular appointment or absorption in CPCB.
CPCB Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
- Screening / Shortlisting of eligible applications.
- Written Examination may be conducted for shortlisting if a large number of applications are received.
- Post-specific Skill Test wherever applicable, including Administrative Assistant and Data Entry Operator.
- Document Verification.
- Interview before the CPCB Selection Committee.
- Medical Fitness Certificate at the time of joining.
Selection may be based on Interview or Written Test followed by
Interview depending upon the number of eligible candidates and
the decision of CPCB.
