In addition to Basic Pay, selected candidates are eligible for Dearness Allowance, perks at 35% of Basic Pay, HRA and other benefits such as CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Schemes and Medical benefits according to AAI rules.
Selection Process
- Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective-type CBT will be conducted for all posts.
- No Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the CBT.
- Application Verification / Subsequent Tests: Candidates will be shortlisted based on CBT performance.
- Interview: Manager posts under Post Codes 1 to 11 include Interview as part of the selection process.
- Manager (Fire Services): Application Verification is followed by Physical Measurement Test, Driving Test and Physical Endurance Test. Candidates qualifying these stages will be allowed to appear for Interview.
- Medical / Other Requirements: Candidates must satisfy all post-specific eligibility and appointment conditions prescribed by AAI.
Manager (Fire Services) Additional Tests
The Physical Endurance Test for Manager (Fire Services) includes activities such as running, casualty carrying using a sandbag, pole climbing, rope climbing and full ladder climbing & descending. Candidates should refer to the official Press Note for exact standards.
