How to Apply for New Aadhaar Card 2026

  1. Locate an authorised Aadhaar Enrolment Centre.
  2. Visit the centre with valid supporting documents.
  3. Fill the Aadhaar enrolment form.
  4. Provide demographic information such as name, date of birth, gender and address.
  5. Complete biometric capture including photograph, fingerprints and iris scan as applicable.
  6. Check all entered details carefully.
  7. Collect the acknowledgement slip containing the Enrolment ID.
  8. Use the Enrolment ID to check Aadhaar generation status.
