1. 9वां National Security Strategies Conference नई दिल्ली में शुरू
केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने नई दिल्ली में 9th National Security Strategies Conference 2026 का उद्घाटन किया। दो दिवसीय conference में देशभर की police और security forces के 850 से अधिक officers भाग ले रहे हैं। अमित शाह ने infiltration के खिलाफ zero-tolerance approach और Multi-Agency Centre यानी MAC के data पर AI-based analysis का निर्देश दिया।
2. 27वीं India-Russia IRIGC-TEC बैठक Moscow में
विदेश मंत्री Dr S. Jaishankar ने Russian First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov के साथ Moscow में 27th India-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation (IRIGC-TEC) की co-chairing की। बाद में Jaishankar ने Kremlin में Russian President Vladimir Putin से भी मुलाकात की।
India-Russia institutional dialogue के तहत IRIGC की दो प्रमुख divisions—IRIGC-TEC और Military & Military-Technical Cooperation—हैं।
3. NSA Ajit Doval 25वीं India-China Boundary Talks के लिए Beijing पहुंचे
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval 24 अगस्त को दो दिवसीय China visit पर Beijing पहुंचे। वे Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi के साथ India-China boundary issue पर 25th round of Special Representatives Talks में भाग लेंगे। Special Representatives mechanism 2003 में स्थापित किया गया था।
4. UNCCD COP17 में भारत ने Land Restoration Finance की मांग उठाई
केंद्रीय पर्यावरण मंत्री Bhupender Yadav ने Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia में आयोजित UNCCD COP17 के Ministerial Dialogue में land restoration और drought resilience के लिए diversified, adequate, predictable और sustained international finance की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया।
भारत ने land restoration को food security, water security, biodiversity और livelihoods में investment बताया।
5. Dak Sewa और Dak MITRA Apps लॉन्च
केंद्रीय Communications Minister Jyotiraditya M. Scindia ने New Delhi में revamped Dak Sewa App और Dak MITRA App लॉन्च किए। इसी अवसर पर 10 राज्यों में 14 renovated Post Offices का भी virtual inauguration किया गया। PIB की media schedule में actual event date 24 अगस्त 2026 दर्ज है।
6. Wheat Flour और Related Products पर Export Restriction हटाया गया
सरकार ने atta, maida, semolina और अन्य wheat-based products पर लागू export restrictions हटा दिए। Directorate General of Foreign Trade यानी DGFT ने संबंधित notification में export policy में amendment किया।

7. Medical Devices Rules, 2017 में Regulatory Reforms
Health Ministry ने medical-device sector में Ease of Doing Business को बढ़ावा देने के लिए Medical Devices Rules, 2017 में amendments से जुड़े regulatory reforms प्रस्तावित किए। इन reforms का focus compliance simplification और regulatory processes को अधिक efficient बनाना है।
8. Bihar में Examination Reform के लिए 5-सदस्यीय Committee
Bihar Government ने राज्य की examination system में comprehensive reforms के लिए five-member special committee गठित करने की notification जारी की। Committee का head retired Supreme Court judge या serving/retired High Court judge होगा और इसे तीन महीने के भीतर recommendations देनी होंगी।
Committee paper leak, cheating, answer-sheet tampering, result interference, biometric verification, CCTV, AI, data analytics और cybersecurity जैसे areas की समीक्षा करेगी। यह BSSC के लिए विशेष रूप से महत्वपूर्ण current affair है।
9. JPSC-JSSC Recruitment Case में Supreme Court ने Notice जारी किया
Supreme Court ने Jharkhand Government और अन्य respondents को alleged recruitment irregularities मामले में notice जारी किया। Petition में JPSC और JSSC appointments की CBI investigation की मांग की गई है। Bench में Chief Justice Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi और Justice V. Mohanan शामिल थे।
10. PMFME Scheme से 2 लाख से अधिक Micro Enterprises को लाभ
Union Food Processing Industries Minister Chirag Paswan ने PMFME Conclave में बताया कि 2 लाख से अधिक individual micro food processing enterprises को Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme का लाभ मिल चुका है।
PMFME food-processing sector के formalisation और small enterprises को support करने वाली प्रमुख Central Government Scheme है।
11. National Conference on Tribal Languages and Museums Mysuru में शुरू
Union MoS for Tribal Affairs Durgadas Uikey ने Mysuru, Karnataka में तीन दिवसीय National Conference on Tribal Languages and Museums का उद्घाटन किया। Conference tribal languages के documentation, preservation और revitalisation तथा tribal heritage और freedom fighters के इतिहास पर केंद्रित है।
12. 7वीं India-Morocco Joint Commission Meeting
24 अगस्त को Morocco में 7th India-Morocco Joint Commission Session आयोजित किया गया। India की ओर से Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Jitin Prasada ने Moroccan counterpart Omar Hejira के साथ इसे co-chair किया।
