1. प्रधानमंत्री ने 53वीं PRAGATI Meeting की अध्यक्षता की
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 25 अगस्त को 53rd PRAGATI Meeting की अध्यक्षता की। PRAGATI का उपयोग महत्वपूर्ण infrastructure projects और government programmes की implementation तथा inter-departmental coordination की उच्चस्तरीय समीक्षा के लिए किया जाता है। PIB ने इसे 25 अगस्त की प्रमुख PMO development के रूप में दर्ज किया।
2. UPI ने पूरे किए 10 वर्ष
Unified Payments Interface (UPI) ने 25 अगस्त 2026 को अपने launch के 10 वर्ष पूरे किए। इसे 25 अगस्त 2016 को शुरू किया गया था। 2016-17 के 1.78 करोड़ annual transactions से बढ़कर 2025-26 में transaction volume 24,162 करोड़ से अधिक हो गया, जबकि annual value करीब ₹314 लाख करोड़ पहुंची।
UPI वर्तमान में 11 देशों में operational है और IMF ने इसे दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा real-time payment system माना है। 2025 में global real-time payment volume में UPI की हिस्सेदारी लगभग 49% बताई गई।
3. Ajit Doval और Wang Yi के बीच 25th India-China Special Representatives Talks
National Security Advisor Ajit Doval और Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi ने Beijing में India-China Boundary Question पर 25th round of Special Representatives Talks किए। यह mechanism 2003 में स्थापित हुआ था और boundary negotiations का प्रमुख institutional channel है।
4. DRDO की Conventional Missile Technologies का Indian Industry को Transfer of Technology
रक्षा मंत्री राजनाथ सिंह ने DRDO-developed conventional missile systems की technologies को Indian defence industry को production के लिए transfer करने की मंजूरी दी। इसका उद्देश्य indigenous production बढ़ाना, imports पर निर्भरता घटाना और MSMEs सहित domestic defence supply chain को मजबूत करना है।

7. CSIR-NAL ने तीन Indigenous Gas Turbine Engines पेश किए
CSIR-National Aerospace Laboratories ने तीन indigenous micro और small gas turbine engines—NJ-05, NJ-50 और NJ-100—unveil किए। इनका thrust क्रमशः 5 kg, 50 kg और 100 kg है। इन्हें tactical UAVs, drone interceptors और compact missile systems में उपयोग के लिए विकसित किया गया है।
8. New Khelo India Scheme 2026-31 के लिए ₹36,441 करोड़
नई Khelo India Scheme 2026-31 के लिए सरकार ने ₹36,441 करोड़ का प्रावधान किया है। यह पिछले framework की तुलना में लगभग आठ गुना investment है और इससे लगभग 10 गुना अधिक athletes को लाभ देने का लक्ष्य है।
Scheme में district-level talent identification, sports infrastructure, coaching, sports science, AI/video-based scouting और athlete support पर जोर है।
9. India-Japan Semiconductor और AI Industry Roundtable
Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal ने Tokyo में India-Japan Industry Roundtable on Semiconductors and Artificial Intelligence की अध्यक्षता की। दोनों देशों ने emerging technologies और next-generation manufacturing में cooperation बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया।
10. India-Japan CEPA Review तेज करने पर सहमति
Piyush Goyal और Japan के Economy, Trade and Industry Minister Akazawa Ryosei ने bilateral meeting में Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) review को accelerate करने पर सहमति जताई। दोनों देशों का लक्ष्य अगले दशक में Japan से India में JPY 10 trillion private investment mobilise करना है।
